How Do I Track My Order?

GrowSmart Toys uses UPS/Fedex/USPS standard, express and overnight shipping methods to deliver toys in stock to our customers. When you place your order, during the checkout process you will receive a tracking number that you can use to watch your product all the way from our warehouse to your door. Simply click onto the Order Tracking link, submit your tracking number and email address. Our warehouse typically stocks over 9,000 product numbers so most toys will come from Houston, Texas. However, other toys are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer, which may effect the shipping costs. Our goal is to minimize your shipping costs if possible.

Do You Charge Sales Tax?

We generally only charge and collect sales tax for orders delivered in Texas or Ohio. We only collect sales tax in states where we maintain a physical presence or have some other connection to the state. Since our offices and warehouse reside in Houston, Texas and some of our operations are in Ohio we are required to charge and collect sales tax on orders delivered within our home state of Texas and in Ohio. We will charge and collect sales and other taxes as required by law, however.

Is Your Site Backed by Third-Party Security?

Yes! Grow Smart Toys’ website is not only a great way to order your educational toys but also a highly secure method as well! We perform nightly backups to the site through third party online security providers. Your payment information is never saved in our records, and is deleted once the purchase has been made. The only information we save for your convenience is your shipping and contact information.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept credit cards and debit cards. Credit Cards accepted include Visa, Master Card, Discover Card and American Express. If you choose to use your debit card, the amount you charge will immediately become unavailable in your account once you place your order. Once the transaction is processed, the amount charged will be withdrawn from your account. Your bank or card provider may charge you additional fees according to your separate arrangements with the bank or provider.

What about Returns or Exchanges?

Every product you buy from GrowSmartToys.com is backed first by the product manufacturer's or supplier’s warranty. GrowSmartToys.com's 30 day limited guarantee may also apply. We regret we cannot refund delivery charges for returns or exchanges. The customer is responsible for any additional shipping charges associated with an exchange. If merchandise is returned in "as-new" condition within 30 days of purchase, a credit (minus what you paid for shipping) will be issued to the original credit card used for purchasing the item(s) or you can choose to receive a store credit. If merchandise is opened and/or unable to be resold, a store credit will be issued in the form of a GrowSmartToys gift certificate. All returns require a Return Authorization number to be issued prior to being returned. Please call us at 1-281-597-9962 to receive a Return Authorization number. Returned products must be in new condition, include original outer packaging, inner packing materials and other accessories and be received within 30 days of the date shipped. We reserve the right to refuse for return or charge a restocking fee for damaged, incomplete or otherwise non-conforming returns. Returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorization number issued by GrowSmartToys.com or when the product manufacturer’s or distributor’s return policy supersedes our own.

Do You Back Order Items?

No, GrowSmartToys.com does not back order out of stock items. If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible to see if you would like to substitute the item for something else. If you do not choose another item, your order will be canceled at no charge to you.

What are Cookies? Do I Need Them?

Cookies are simply a small amount of data sent from a website to your computer’s internet browser. Cookies allow site users to enjoy a fuller shopping experience from their favorite shopping websites. Cookies will need to be enabled on your browser to add items to your shopping cart and access saved account information. If you do not want others who may use your computer to see your account information, simply logout of your account at the top of this website by clicking 'log out.'

Why Should I Avoid Small Parts for my Toddler?

Children under 3 typically place toys in their mouth. Any toys with small parts could pose as a choking danger. You should also avoid marbles and balls smaller than 1.75”. Tots this age are still using their hands and mouth to discover the world around them and will pull toys apart in their quest for discovery. Please be very cautious to supervise your toddler when they are playing with any toy, regardless of the type or size.

What Can I Do as a Parent to Make My Child More Safe?

Although this is not an exhaustive list, here are some things that you can do. The first thing you should do with any toy is read the age and safety labels. The age and safety labels from the manufacturer include very valuable instructions and warnings about how to use the toy properly and in an safe manner. Toys have been specified for specific age groups for the child’s safety. Secondly, look for strings or ribbons that could be a hazard if a child is able to put their chin across it. Remember to check toys often for broken pieces caused during use, which could pose as safety hazards. Finally, do not leave toys out unattended in places where a child will have access to the toy. You may forget a toy has been left out unattended, and it is possible that a child will eventually find the toy whether you remember it was left unattended or not.
